Life took him through years of deep struggle with his mental health. What brought him back was nature, natural medicine, and the quiet devotion of making art. Today he lives a simple, humble life in Costa Rica, tending gardens, volunteering with the land, and creating — paintings, sculptures, whatever nature leaves at his feet.
