Animal Spirit

A goat-headed spirit looms out of gold and shadow, a small human figure sheltered within its chest like a secret it carries. Adair paints the totem as protector — antlers, fur, and ink dissolving into an aura of ochre light. It has the charged stillness of a vision met in the dark. This is the animal that walks beside you when you cannot see it.
